Caren Callas

Born and raised in Munich, Caren attended a music-oriented high school, where she played classical piano and sang in a Hip-Hop Jazz band. In 2004, she moved to Berlin for love.

Once there, she pursued a career in event management and quickly was hooked by Berlin‘s music scene. Starting interest in Hip-Hop and Funk, she later transitioned to House music. Her job at the Berlin Fashion Week allowed her to collaborate with DJs and bands for after-show parties. After organizing major festivals like Watergate/Fly Bermuda, as well as events for brands such as Hugo Boss, Michalsky, Levis, and Diesel, she began her journey as a booker at the intimate Berlin club „Farbfernseher“.  Slowly, she started DJing herself, eventually landing gigs at larger clubs. She‘s currently also venturing into music production.

Her style is Deep & Tech House — deep, driving yet uplifting beats, with lots of vocals and melodies, and a strong passion for storytelling. In 2025, she played for HÖR Berlin for the second time and celebrated her debut at Fusion Festival, alongside many other festivals.

Geboren und aufgewachsen in München, besuchte Caren ein musisches Gymnasium, wo sie klassisches Klavier spielte und in einer Hip-Hop Jazz Band sang. Im Jahr 2004 zog sie der Liebe wegen nach Berlin.

Dort begann sie eine Karriere im Eventmanagement und tauchte schnell in die Musikszene der Hauptstadt ein. Angefangen mit Hip-Hop und Funk, fand sie bald ihre Passion für Housemusic. Durch ihren Job für die Berlin Fashion Week knüpfte sie Kontakte zu DJs und Bands, und organisierte dort Aftershowpartys. Nach der Organisation von großen Festivals wie Watergate/Fly Bermuda sowie Events für Marken wie Hugo Boss, Michalsky, Levis und Diesel startete sie als Bookerin im Berliner Club „Farbfernseher“. Dort begann sie auch selbst als DJ, bis sie die ersten großen Clubs bespielte. Derzeit arbeitet sie auch an ihrer eigenen Musikproduktion.

Ihr Style ist Deep- & Techhouse – tiefe treibende, aber auch uplifting Beats, mit viel Vocals und Melodien und einer großen Leidenschaft für’s Geschichtenerzählen. Im Jahr 2025 hat sie das zweite Mal für HÖR Berlin gespielt und neben vielen anderen Festivals auch ihr Debut auf der Fusion gefeiert.
